With COVID restrictions threatening to disrupt their plans, the Adeladies were thrilled to be joined by over 300 guests at the whimsical Sunnybrae Estate on Friday 17 September for their fifth event to #ForkCancer.
Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner with drinks from Hither & Yon, Big Shed Brewing, Bickford and Vickers Gin, and helped to raise vital funds for breast cancer research through a wine wall, silent auction, and live auction.
“Both our mums are breast cancer survivors so five years ago we decided to hold a big event to raise as much money as possible for breast cancer research,” Hayley said.
“We are absolutely buzzing knowing that every cent is going towards incredible research that will help save the lives of our mums, sisters, besties and grandmas.”
Dr Sarah Boyle was the special guest speaker of the night; she spoke about her groundbreaking breast cancer research and how support from The Longest Table is saving lives!
“When we started Adelady, it was our mission to always give back and giving to breast cancer research is a cause very close to our hearts,” Lauren said.
“It’s an honour to work with The Hospital Research Foundation Group to make this happen.”
Their amazing efforts over the past five years have raised a total of $231,000 for Australian Breast Cancer Research!
